The explanation of each of the “fronts” (European and Pacific) is covered in a separate venue and both are very clear about what was happening at the time. The introductory movie, “Beyond All Boundaries” is an hour long production that makes the audience part of the presentation and it is very well done. The Museum has done a really good job of braking down all aspects of the War and covering each of them in a separate venue inside the Museum.
The story of World War II is a complicated one and it takes time to digest the whole thing. My first comment is that it can not be thoroughly explored an appreciated in one day. The National World War II Museum was the primary reason for our visit to New Orleans and we weren’t disappointed.
